Royal Enfield has launched the Himalayan with double channel ABS It’s priced at Rs 1.78 lakh for its standard ABS variant and Rs 1.80 lakh for the Sleet ABS variant. This is a price hike of Rs 10,000 and Rs 8,000 respectively. It is India’s first homegrown and most inexpensive experience bike. From the looks of it, Royal Enfield has really gone to great lengths to develop this bike and it’s a far cry from Royal Enfield’s usual harvest of bicycles.

The Himalayan is powered by a 410cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, maximum torque of 32.00Nm, mated into a 5-speed gearbox.
